What is SSL?
Secure Sockets Layer, SSL, is the standard security technology for creating an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browser remain private and integral. It can be used to create secure links to protect transactions, passwords, personal details, etc.

What is shared SSL?
A shared SSL certificate is one certificate that can be used for all domains on the server.

What is anonymous SSL?
SSL certificates are issued to a name of the person/company that is requesting it, in this case MCHost. In order to make sure that these SSL certificates offer the maximum amount of anonymity possible, our SSL certificates are not issued under the name 'MCHost', but under 'DNSRouter', which cannot be tracked back to MCHost.
