Generate an SSL Certifcate and Signing Request

If you wish to install your own SSL certificate such as 'https://secure.yourdomain.com' rather than our Shared SSL, please follow the instructions below:

Log into your WebHostManager.
Click on 'Generate an SSL Certifcate and Signing Request'
Enter your information. This information must match your real company information as it may be verified later by the company you are requesting an SSL certificate from.
Click 'Create'.

Save the output at a safe place! You must save the output as you will need it in the future. We recommend you save it to a plain text file (.txt) and save it to floppy disc or CD. If you loose this information, your SSL certificate will be useless!

You may now request an SSL certificate at one of the following recommended SSL providers:

Once you have received your certificate from an SSL provider, you may proceed to the installation below. Do NOT attempt to install an invalid certificate as it will corrupt the web server and may result in SSL access removed from your account!
