DNS Basics
First of all, DNS stands for the Domain Name Service. It is a set of software and protocols that translate a domain name like www.bizhat.com into an IP address such as 123.123.123.123 and then resolves and displays your website. A request for such a translation is called a DNS query and the 'guides' on every server are called 'DNS Zones', which will make sure your domain name is resolving fine and routed to the correct IP address.
If you are not familiar with DNS or you've never heard of it, we would recommend you to leave the standard settings or it may cause all of your domains to go down and stop resolving.
If you need any DNS records changed and you are unsure of how to do it, contact us and we'll be glad to assist you!
